Credits Tom Wargo, Hank Johnson and her husband, Mark Williams, as the people having the most influence on her career... In 2004, Aug. 13 was proclaimed Nancy Scranton Day in her hometown of Centralia, Ill...Gave birth to twins in 2004: Libby Jane and Luke Scranton...Qualified for the Tour on first attempt...Represents Hunters Green Country Club in Tampa, Fla. Scranton collected most of her amateur victories in her home state of Illinois. She won the 1983 Illinois Women's State Championship, the 1979 and 1982-83 Southern Illinois Championship and the 1981-82 St. Louis Metro Championship. Splitting her collegiate career between Florida State and the University of Kentucky, Scranton registered three top-five finishes, including victories at the 1984 Western Kentucky Invitational and the 1984 Southern Illinois University Invitational. Scranton was named All-Southeastern Conference in 1983.
