Started playing golf at the age of 10...Credits instructors Denis Watson,  LPGA Teaching and Club Professional member Karen Palacios-Jansen, her  high school coach and LPGA T&CP Master Professional Mary Beth  Neinhaus and her parents as the individuals who influenced her career  the most...Has one brother...Married David Brooker in 2002...Gave birth  to son Lance Henry Brooker in 2004...Played as Sue Ginter from  1998-2001. Hobbies include writing and outdoor sports. Competed on Asian Tour and Women Professional Golfers’ European Tour (WPGET). As an amateur, Ginter-Brooker captured both the Wisconsin State Junior and Wisconsin  State Amateur titles. As a competitor on the University of Texas golf  team, she was voted the team MVP in 1986, was named All-Southwest  Conference in 1986 and 1988 and an NCAA All-American in 1988. She  competed in two U.S. Women’s Opens as an amateur.
