Elevating the Dream Pro-AM & Legends Challenge - June 6&7 - C.C. of North Carolina


The FirstHealth Elevating the Dream Pro-am and Legends Challenge events open the 2022 Legends season at the Country Club of North Carolina on June 7, 2022. Leading the impressive field is World Golf Hall of Famer, Hollis Stacy, who won 18 LPGA titles and is a 3-time U.S. Women’s Open Champion. Also set to compete are Rosie Jones, with 13 LPGA and 8 Legends Tour wins, Michele Redman, with 2 LPGA and 3 Legends Tour wins and Val Skinner, with 6 LPGA wins.

North Carolina players in the field are Cathy Johnston-Forbes (Kitty Hawk, NC), Donna Andrews (Pinehurst, NC) and Laura Diaz (Winston-Salem, NC). Other notable players with North Carolina ties are Jean Bartholomew, who played for Duke and local favorite and Country Club of North Carolina member, Suzy Green-Roebuck. "The Legends of the LPGA are excited to be back in the Pinehurst area for a two-day event that will be played on CCNC’s Dogwood Course. CCNC has two outstanding golf courses that have hosted multiple USGA Championships, as well as other top amateur and professional events. The Dogwood Course at CCNC will be a great test of our Legends players” said Legends of the LPGA President and tournament organizer, Cathy Johnston-Forbes. Opened in 1963, the Dogwood Course was originally designed by noted architect Ellis Maples along with Willard Byrd.

The event kicks off on Monday, June 6th with the FirstHealth SEI “Elevating the Dream” Pro-Am, followed by the Legends Challenge presented by Golf Pride on Tuesday, June 7th. Tee times begin at 8:00AM. Please check Schedule page for pairing information and tee times.
